Discount code Vs Draft order

Discount code Vs Draft order

Offering discounts can be a powerful marketing strategy for your store and UFE will make sure that you will get the most out of it.

There are two methods for applying discounts in UFE, Draft Order and Discount codes. By default, UFE is using the Draft order method.

Draft Order

Draft orders allow us to create orders on behalf of merchants. It is similar to the orders that your customers create for themselves. This is useful for Shopify merchants who receive orders through outside channels.
UFE is using Draft Orders API  to create draft orders with a discount. Unfortunately, other discount codes can't be combined with draft orders.

Discount Codes

If you're looking to set up any promotional discount codes/vouchers that customers can input during the checkout process to get a deal on their order, then this is one of the best ways.

Quick Info!
You can simply switch between these methods just by selecting the Discount apply method option in UFE Global settings → Advanced.
